User Reviews & Info.

Welcome to our new User Reviews & Information Page. We occasionally have e-mails letting us know a certain game is subtitled or that a certain website is offering games that are deaf gamer friendly. Previously we've had nowhere to post this information so we've decided to create this page so that any useful information we receive can remain here rather than simply getting lost on our home page. As the title suggests we'll also post any reviews on here that you send in. The reviews can be as long (or as short) as you like. For readers of these reviews we must stress that these reviews represent opinions of other readers and not of Deaf Gamers.

User Information

Jimmy Smith from Chicago has informed us that Tomb Raider: Legend for the PlayStation 2 is subtitled.

John Owens has also confirmed the game is subtitled although the subtitles are disabled by default.

We received an e-mail before Christmas from Meredith Peruzzi to let us know that World of Warcraft was deaf gamer friendly:

Hi, just wanted to let you know that World of Warcraft can be played without sound.  I am hearing (certified ASL interpreter) but I don't usually have the sound on, and I play with no problem.  Speech is posted in bubbles.  There is voice chat available in the game, which is not accessible to deaf gamers, but it is not a requirement.

User Modifications

Dan Davidson has sent us a modified Medieval: Total War opening movie. Dan has splendidly subtitled this movie and if you're a Total War it's definitely worth a download. The movie comes with installation instructions.
