Tomb Raider The Last Revelation

Published by Sold Out Software
Developed by Core Design
Platform: PC CD-ROM
Released - Out Now
Price : £4.99

Whilst the sixth game in the Tomb Raider series has just emerged and is receiving a whole host of mediocre reviews (we still haven't had our copy as yet), Sold Out have released the fourth in the series, Tomb Raider The Last Revelation.

This time Lara is in Egypt and comes across the lost tomb where the evil god Set is imprisoned. Lara unwittingly releases him and throughout the game it's up to Lara to correct her mistake and re-imprison Set. In all fairness The Last Revelation is not remembered as one of Lara's finest moments but it's a solid game nevertheless and there are a host of new moves that Lara can perform such as pole climbing and rope swinging.

Unfortunately The Last Revelation is not subtitled in any way, shape or form. This isn't too much of a problem after you've passed the initial tutorial, which is delivered by speech only and will prove virtually impossible for deaf gamers.

Recommendation: A solid game that is well worth £5 but ...

Suitability for deaf gamers: ... it is not subtitled at all which means the initial tutorial will prove virtually impossible for deaf gamers.

Overall Game Rating: 2.5/5
