Does the idea of virtual pets appeal to you? Where you caught up in the Tamagotchi craze? If the answer to these questions is yes, then you'll probably be impressed with The Amazing Virtual Sea-Monkeys. Taking care of your virtual fish tank you have to nurture these little creatures and take care of their needs. If all goes well you'll soon have your own little community.

To aid you in creating the perfect environment for your little sea-monkeys there are a number of toys, fish and other products available to purchase. In order to be able to afford such luxuries you have to persuade your creatures to collect pearls from the clams in the tank. This is not straightforward and those who haven't got the patience of Job will more than likely be put off by having to wait around until you can afford items that you need.

The simulator (I hesitate to call it a game because it isn't really a game) is deaf gamer friendly but why is there no manual? At least that's what I thought at first until I found an electronic one on the CD. These are usually installed to your hard drive but not this time. Still it's there and will help you get accustomed to the simulator. If you like virtual pets at all, this will be a must purchase but those who want action rather than relaxation would probably not appreciate the complexity of the simulator.
