Kart games on the PC have always been a mixed bag. Formula Karts is no exception to this. The game contains a championship mode and a single race mode. It is also highly configurable. It supports all game controllers (although you'll have to set up your wheel as though it were a joystick). The graphics are poor by today's standards but that can be overlooked somewhat as the action is fast and furious. The game is a pure arcade racer and no real physics are involved with the game. This doesn't make it a bad game (it is very enjoyable) but those expecting a Kart simulator should look elsewhere. There are eight tracks in the game and the variety between them is very good. The only thing you can say against the game at this price is that it occasionally crashes (with a 'Kart bcrd.f32' error). This is a shame because Formula Karts is a lot better than more recent Kart offerings.
