Now here we have a compilation of 12 classic Atari games (the real Atari not the renamed Infogrames). The games on offer are Pong, Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Battlezone, Centipede, Crystal Castles, Gravitar, Millipede, Missile Command, Super Breakout, Tempest and Warlords.

There's not much you can say about these games. Most are hailed as classics with Pong in particular being classed as the first ever video game. Their simplicity was a large part of their appeal and the games are still as addictive as ever. What's really impressive though is that you can play the games in full screen mode and select from a variety of screen resolutions (including the increasingly popular 1280x1024 TFT screen resolution). The games' can either be played in their original form or with slightly enhanced graphics. You can customise the game controls although the default ones do seem to work well.

All of the games in this compilation are from times when deaf gamers had no problems at all. The technology was very limited and sounds were simply chirps and beeps. Not being able to hear these crude sounds doesn't disadvantage the deaf gamer at all and as a result you'll have absolutely no problems. If you want to play some of those Atari classics this is a great way to do so.
